Brookline is to Newton as Ansonia is to Naugatuck….
Kayla anchored the B medley relay to 2nd place (beating A team from Brookline) with a  PR-tieing 27.5 and then followed up breaking 28 for first time in flat start 50 free for a flat-start PR 27.97 and grabbed 3rd place (missed 2nd by 0.01).  She then grabbed a 4th in the open 100 free in a flat-start PR 63.97 and then finished up by anchoring the 200 free relay to a 2nd place with a 27.93.   Her 50 free time meets the varsity letter qualification standard.
Kayla contributed 13 of the 93 points needed to put Newton over the top before they stopped scoring the last 2 events.
