Jared had two soccer games on Sunday. First he played with his MPS team in Devens, MA at 2:30 to a 3-0 win over America FC Revolution while the rest of the Prior clan was down in Franklin for the relays. Jared scored 2 goals, 1 in the opening 2 minutes and then another at 10 minutes.
He returned to Newton, changed shorts and shirt, and headed to Cold Spring park for a 6pm town Bays game against Weston. Weston only could field 9 players (it was a make up), so Newton voluntarily fielded only 10. Several Weston players were Jared’s MPS team mates at one point or another. Newton dominated the game but came up with a 0-0 tie (pictures). Weston now leads the division with a 3-0-1 record while Newton trails in 2nd with a 2-0-2 record.
Jared is currently high scorer on both his teams (3 of 6 MPS, 4 of 10 BAYS).

Soccer Sunday! You needed lots of energy for the hard playing you did, Jared.
Great pictures, Dad, of Jared in his focus and action with teammates. Gram
Wow, your name on the shirt! That will stay tucked in a closet for a long time if some girl doesn’t get it.
Super energy!
How cool is that second action shot? I can see the ball trembling 🙂
New number?
Don’t wear yourself out with these back to back games! Looking good, however.
