Dad ran the Bill’s Pizza 5K on Sunday in 22:48 (7:20/mile pace) placing 106th in a field of 773 (results).

Jared turns 15
Lisa and Brian organized a surprise party for Jared at Bill’s pizza for his 15th birthday. Brandon and his mom came down from Vermont for the surprise.

Newton North Soccer
Jared was one of the few Newton freshman to make the Junior Varsity team and he’s been playing well with the stepped up level of competition. The team is doing well with roughly a .500 record after ~11 games. Apologies for delay in posting on the season. Newton had a close 1-2 loss to league rival Weymouth today in Newton. I took the sequences of shots from the 2nd half and made a slide show:
