Prior family scrap book
Lisa rode 108 miles today completing the Mount Washington Century Ride today with the Boston LunaChix, covering the mountainous route in 8:30 (7:15 on the bike).

Kayla passed her learners permit exam on Friday afternoon and is now practicing her driving with Dad:

Kayla took home the bronze medal in the long jump and got 4th in the hurdles in the Bay State Games held today at UMass Lowell and also earned a snazzy Bay State Games jacket (results). She had some good looking jumps that were 1/4″ fouls. Her only legal jump is the one with the rake being pulled out of the way just in time. She also competed in the vault but opened at an agressive height. See slide shows below of all three events!
The Knights lost a close game 0-1 to their sister team the MPS Crusaders.

Jared increased his defensive play in a tough 5-1 Loss to the Portland Phoenix in Portland, Maine this evening.
Kayla and the 13 other girls that represented Newton North in the Outdoor State Championships were honored this evening in a ceremony at city hall. Mayor Setti Warren presented the girls with certificates of commendation from the town. Newton South athletes also attended for their 2nd place in the state open.
